Platinum Express is a unique nine piece band featuring the "Full Steam Horn Section". What sets this band apart is the breadth of their musical tastes, their enjoyment of the music, and their ability to create a finger-poppin', heel-clicking, and just flat out fun dancing and listening experience.
The Express plays in the straight-ahead, vibrant "Kansas City tradition". They feature horn centered Rhythm and Blues,hot-buttered soul and sophisticated funk.
